Meet the Board Members

Jennifer is serving as president of the Friends of Fine Arts this year. Her two children have both been actively involved in the Fine Arts programs at DGN. Her son Finn graduated in 2023 after participating in the Theatre Department during his time at North. Her daughter Grace is currently a senior and participates in choir, theatre, and the Marching Band with Color Guard and Winter Guard. Outside of FOFA, Jennifer owns a small business in downtown Downers Grove and enjoys supporting local schools and community organizations. She is excited to serve on the FOFA board and support the talented students and wonderful Fine Arts programs at DGN.

Lori has two children at DGN, Leah (2028) and Henry (2030).  Leah is very active in the Fine Arts program though Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Lab Band playing the flute, piccolo, and alto saxophone.  Henry keeps them busy with soccer as a goalkeeper. Lori is a CPA and currently works investigating financial crimes. In her spare time, Lori enjoys scuba diving, sailing, reading, and traveling.

Karrie has two children, Lucas (Class of 2026) and Andie (Class of 2028) heavily involved in the fine arts programs at DGN.  She has a deep appreciation for music, theater, and art programs.  She wants to support efforts to bring additional funding and support to these programs at DGN.  Karrie works part-time as a landscape designer and account manager.  In her spare time she enjoys karate, knitting and ultimate frisbee with her family.

Sarah has two children who graduated from DGN and a current sophomore who proudly plays baritone saxophone in the DGN Band. Sarah is deeply grateful for the Fine Arts Programs and the growth, leadership, and community they provide. Sarah enjoys working in academia, coffee (perhaps too much), a suspenseful mystery miniseries, and the rare morning her Apple watch announces a perfect sleep score.

Caryn was an active participant in band, orchestra and choir while growing up, and is excited for the many opportunities the DGN fine arts programs offers to students.  Her son is a freshman and is involved with the concert, marching and jazz bands playing tenor and baritone saxophone.  Caryn’s daughter will be at DGN next year and looks forward to playing trumpet in the band and marching band.  Caryn is an HR professional working full-time in employee benefits in the insurance industry.  She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, and is excited to be supporting FOFA in this volunteer role!
